This Cookies Policy explains how Gymnastics Growth Limited ("we", "us", "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on nickruddock.com, gymnasticsos.com and any associated subdomains (together, the "Sites"). It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
WHO WE ARE Gymnastics Growth Limited is a company incorporated in England & Wales with company number 13031738 and registered office at Third Floor, 207 Regent Street, London, W1B 3HH. ICO registration: ZB248126. Contact: support@nickruddock.com.
WHAT ARE COOKIES Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, improve performance and provide information to site owners. Similar technologies include pixels, local storage and tags — we refer to all of these as "cookies" in this policy.
CATEGORIES OF COOKIES WE USE
Strictly necessary — Required for the Sites to function (e.g. session security, basic site routing, remembering your cookie consent choices). These cannot be switched off. This category includes the cookies set by our consent management platform, Cookiebot, which records your consent preferences.
Functional — Power features you actively use. We currently use GrooveHQ for customer support chat on nickruddock.com, and Intercom on gymnasticsos.com (with a planned transition for nickruddock.com to Intercom in future). These cookies maintain your conversation context and help us identify return visitors.
Statistics — Help us understand how visitors use the Sites so we can improve them. We use Plausible (anonymous, aggregated), and Mixpanel, PostHog and Google Analytics (pseudonymous, user-level analytics) depending on the Site.
Marketing — Used to measure the effectiveness of our advertising and to show you relevant content on other platforms. We use Meta Pixel, Google Ads conversion tracking, and Google Tag Manager (as a container that loads the above once you have consented).
A full, auto-updated list of every cookie set on these Sites — including provider, purpose and expiry — appears at the bottom of this page.
YOUR CHOICES When you first visit either Site, you will see a consent banner letting you accept or reject each category (except strictly necessary). Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it — click the Cookie Settings link in the site footer at any time to change your choices. No email or form required. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
You can also block or delete cookies via your browser settings. Note that disabling some cookies may affect how the Sites work — for example, declining functional cookies will prevent the live chat widget from loading.
OUR LAWFUL BASIS Strictly necessary cookies are exempt from consent under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR). The limited personal data they process is handled on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating secure, functional websites. All other categories (functional, statistics, marketing) are set only with your prior, freely given consent, in line with the UK GDPR and PECR.
JOINT CONTROLLERSHIP FOR THE META PIXEL When you consent to marketing cookies, Meta Platforms Ireland Limited and Gymnastics Growth Limited act as joint controllers for the data collected by the Meta Pixel in respect of audience-building, measurement and reporting. The arrangement between us is governed by Meta's Controller Addendum, available at https://www.facebook.com/legal/controller_addendum. For all other Pixel-related processing, Meta acts as an independent controller.
ERROR MONITORING We use Sentry to detect and diagnose technical errors on the Sites. Sentry processes limited diagnostic data (error stack traces, browser and OS details, truncated IP address) under our legitimate interest in keeping the Sites secure and functional. We have disabled session replay and PII capture in our Sentry configuration. Sentry does not set marketing cookies.
